That,my friend,is something you don’t need to know
You failed in the very basics of love which is communication. Were you too weak to confront me with what you saw?

It’s crazy Monday at work :)
You wouldn’t believe that it hasn’t been a week yet at nawala na naman ako!!! I got trapped in the fire exit of our client’s building. Talk about embarrassing. After getting out, everybody was asking how I felt the whole time I was there and all I can say is, “Sanay na ‘ko ‘jan.” There reactions? Speechless.

Good morning!
Today is the start of another week. Let’s thank God for all the blessings he has given us. Let us keep our faith and believe firmly of the promises he has made. As I drink my first latte cup for the week, I contemplate over Today’s Word with Joel & Victoria
“And if the Spirit of Him Who raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you, [then] He Who raised up Christ Jesus from the dead will also restore to life your mortal (short-lived, perishable) bodies through His Spirit Who dwells in you.”
–Romans 8:11, AMP
As it says, we must rise up in faith, throw all our worries and let God lead the way. Together with the Holy Spirit who has given the power of resurrection to the Lord Jesus Christ, believe that God will take away all of your pains and sufferings, your sickness, your troubles, your enemies, those problems that weight you down. And I say, that while believing in the everlasting glory of God, while waiting for his right time, carry your cross.
“And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.”
—Luke 9:23
Remember that this is not about you; this is your travel to become Christ-like children of God, to live in the image and likeness of the Lord, to please Him, to praise and glorify Him. By living a faithful life, we will be empowered as we wait for the glorious victories the Lord has promised. It may not come today, it may be for another week, it may take a month or even a year, but the Lord God fulfills his promises to those who listen to His Word, to those who offer up their lives to living up to what the scriptures says, to those who have accepted Christ as their savior.
Today, let us not devote ourselves in prayer, asking God for things. Know that He is already cooking up something far greater than we are asking of Him. Keep in mind that His vision traverses a land that we can never see through our human eyes. Our logic fails to explain the majestic powers He can do to touch our lives so that we may fulfill the purpose He has made for us in this world. Today, let us thank Him for the great story He is writing for us. Let us rise up in faith and be a human edifice of the life and love of the Lord Jesus Christ. Let us show the world that the Lord has come through His resurrection through you. Be His tiny vessel that could change the world. And so we pray:
A PRAYER FOR TODAY
Father, thank You for filling me with Your power by the Holy Spirit. I choose to feed my faith by declaring Your Word over my life so that I can partake of the life You have prepared for me in Jesus’ name. Amen.— Joel & Victoria Osteen

The following are places where you can get food in the City of Makati, especifically along Makati Ave and J.P. Rizal and some places in between:
Have fun!
That’s me and the kitchen at the back. Food on the right corner are Trappist Mango Bars which are to die for, Mango Piaya which I like better than the fat na nakakasuyang Piaya from Batangas and lastly, actual mangos freshly picked from Nina’s backyard!!!
Speaking of which, making baon or packed lunch (and even merienda) helps a lot in saving those extra pesos if you’re on a tight budget. I usually buy Goldilocks patries once a week to keep me through those hunger pains while at work. Also, the crackers I mentioned earlier are also life savers when you’d rather stay at the office but there’s no food to eat.
I think I’ll make a part II for this one. I haven’t posted CBTL and SB yet. Plus the other restaurants and fastfoods found at Ayala. I might also make one at Greenbelt/Landmark/Glorietta/SM Makati and of course, at Taguig.
Bye!

in Uncategorized Tags: Saturday, work schedule
Thank God for giving me this Saturday for myself.
After last Wednesday’s escapade (I made a blog entry about that but I’m not yet done editing it.) I have decided to spend this whole day for myself. Who cares if I have to decline all the invitations of my cousin for some Saturday bonding time? I need this time of my life to practice having a work-life balance. This is a time set for me, myself and I.
I believe it is a choice to find an area in your life spent for relaxation. After almost going crazy during the busy season, I have realized how much I have neglected myself for way too long. I don’t eat on time, I have replaced water with coffee, I almost don’t sleep at all, I am always late for work due to the long hours of my supposed night shift and where did all these efforts go? It went to an OT- to OT rating.
Honestly, I believe I don’t deserve it. But the aftermath of the busy season has long since passed and I am now at a new chapter of my life. I have moved on.
Now, I am dealing with my deadlines way better that I used to with my previous clients. I try to go home as early as 7pm (that’s an hour later than our actual shift but is still way too early based from our firm’s norm). However, going home early would mean double time in almost all of my work, thus, sacrificing leisure time during those 9 hours of work. But I don’t mind. I get to go home and cook myself a decent dinner (by decent, I mean anything edible). I get to sleep early, or, for my insomniac body, lay to bed earlier than usual. Plus! I am never late to work on the next day anymore. YEEPEE!!!
WORK DAY ITINERARY (Based from this week’s schedule ALONE)
7:00 AM Fix up my bed
Say a little prayer
Prepare my breakfast/lunch
Eat
7:30 Bath
8:00 Change and get ready for work
8:30 Leave the apartment
9:00 work
Here, my schedule would usually vary. First, I read my Daily Verse and Prayer and I usually make a quick post on wordpress. Then, I start to work. Lunch would also vary, from 11:30 to 12:30. Sometimes we’d make a quick snack at Mcdo or buy food at 7-11 or ask for delivery of some of our favorite snacks available at Makati Ave. Lately, I’ve been so into the Famous Belgian Waffles. Peanut Butter and Banana is still my favorite. I haven’t bought any milktea lately, though. Except for that one time at Chowking where I made baon at Time square a little leftover sandwich from Deli24 where I snacked earlier that day. I had to buy something at the venue so that I can eat there with my friends.
Also, I have avoided coffee and have replaced it with one cup of tea bag a day, used several times if necessary. The client’s tea is Gold Leaf, they have a vendo of Nescafe featuring Capuccino, Latte, Mocha, 3-in-1, Black Coffee, White Coffee and Milo. My favorite is Latte.
Dinner also varies since sometimes I get to eat at home which would end up to an 8 or 9pm dinner. My dinner sched at the office would depend on my friend’s sched. As the clock strikes midnight, I make sure I’m already at home, snuggled in my bed and ready for the sandman to come visit me to sleep.
Oh, this blogging thing is making way sleepy. I think I might take a nap. Chow!

Postscript: America has just decided to arm the Syrian rebels...
The Americans are in a bind regarding Syria, as Barack Obama has established a 'no cross line' (chemical weapons) which the Assad regime, according to now several sources in the UN, has crossed. But he's also said that no American boots will be on Syrian soil.
Added to this, is the reality that the Syrian uprising is rapidly becoming a de facto war with Iran, as Iran pours ordinance and fighters in to Syria, arms and supports Hizbollah who are fighting the Syrian war from Lebanon, and Israel sits askance, America's primary ally in the Middle East.
